Pitching Leaders

That leaders should not be

After having served the company for four years, I had the opportunity to work with a colleague has become an embodiment of the management failed. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about what not when I take a hit as the main man - the director general.

This colleague was like my shadow and it tasted like the folds in the palm of my hand. I think the success was in a lot of him, and he became what he hates most - a dictator difficult and ill-advised.

Leaders must not be:

1. A "flip-flop"

It is a quality of a person who can not make your own opinion let alone adhere to business goals. It seems to run endless circles and people tired of following his own way. I do not know if you can clearly see that his men are very frustrated to maintain standards, policies and objectives of the company when he does not even recognize its value and continues to work around it. For him, there is only one rule - a basic principle.

2. Egocentric arrogant

He seems to enjoy a large sitting on their laurels and constantly blow to his ego by saying that the company and its people will be nowhere without him. While it may be somewhat true, but only a small fraction of the effort. These are the people who support the "back door" that made the four corners Businessman stable - not a vendor with a difficult sales arrogant tone sleeve.

3. A talk but walk the talk

Such talk much, and I mean a lot! This individual self sermon as Pope and as the cool evening poaching. It is always clear and categorical with all the pictures, like me, not to "screw" with employees at all and yet it was the first to break the rule. Talk to real leadership.

4. A coward

False leaders come in different shapes and sizes. Many come in shining armor to look more fierce swords and stronger. But when the shipment reaches the enemy's face, then sit back and allow others to cover your sorry ass. At the time of peace, his inspiring words are the only voice you have there, but dead silence and no on the war - probably hiding in the bunker you say?

5. Disrespect

An arrogant man who never learns to respect others, even from the same cloth. This is very clear many of our business meetings, when trampling decisions of the CEO and discredits his abilities as a leader against his people! It is more apathetic?

6. False sense of direction

His real "north" is different from what is commonly accepted and everyone wants to follow his compass broken. I remember very strongly, saying that his "barometer" to identify whether the company is well if your one of your employees have complained not. If you complain, then that means there are big problems. It's like believing in a superstition - Unbelievable!

7. Emotionally unstable

One mark of a true leader is not "moved" by emotions when making decisions. The leaders decided very objective and, indeed, even the highest tides of emotional situations. Yes, many mistakes and costly due to emotional instability.

As for me, I got up here - my first line and I do not know how long I can take this. Honestly, I do not share his vision, as it darkens. I do not agree the vision, because it is wrong. I do not share his vision, because it is selfish. Wait afloat all these years, people in question. Many will be lost whether to abandon the ship. I mean, I serve not the driver that moves the wheel, but the man who opened the road.
