How do you think of baseball cards worth on eBay?

I'm trying to sell baseball cards on eBay for my grandmother and I do not play / watch sports I know how much worth it and I do not want to get jipped online or in a store. I would say that the cards have been made around the year 1950 - 1970 and so some players before age it would be more valuable.
